lesson surf instructors for Santa Monica, Manhattan and
Malibu beaches.
Do you have experience instructing people to surf?
Do you enjoy teaching? Do you have a good understanding
of the mechanics of surfing? Do you like dealing with
people? If so, read on.
Lessons are taught to all ages and
experience levels. You would be doing private lessons
(up to a maximum of four students at a time) in which you
teach all aspects of surfing. Rental equipment (board
and wetsuit) is provided to the student. You would need
to bring whatever equipment you would need to instruct (wetsuit,
booties, etc). Some lessons may involve transporting
equipment, but most will be on location in Santa Monica
or Dockweiler. All instructors will train with us
to learn our technique before teaching on their own (you
can use whatever technique works best for you). You
will also need to be CPR and 1st aid certified.
Hours are dependant on the student's
schedule, but can take place anytime, seven days a week
between the hours of 8am and 6pm, depending on conditions,
need and availability. Generally there are a lot of
lessons available. This is exciting and rewarding work,
and we need people who can perform strongly while still
having a good time (it's hard not to).
You must be skilled, punctual, reliable,
responsible, upbeat, sharp, a good communicator and thorough.
Compensation is negotiable - flat rate per lesson plus tips!

Positions available immediately
in our summer surf camp for a surf camp director. You should
bring a fun loving attitude and creative presence to the
camp. You
must be a skilled and experienced surfer; be organized;
be able to lead youths (ages 7 to 17) through a variety
of beach activities -focusing mainly on surfing of course!;
guide assistant instructors; monitor safety conditions;
and manage the overall daily operations on site. Must also
have CPR (adult and infant) and First Aid certification.
Camp goes from late June through
Labor Day. Hours are Mon - Fri, from roughly 8:30am to 4:30pm,
depending on daily needs.
This is ideal for someone who wants a fun, exciting and
rewarding summer work. You must be skilled, punctual, reliable,
responsible, upbeat, sharp, a good communicator, detail
oriented, and put the highest priority on monitoring the
safety of the surf campers.

in our summer surf camp for camp counselors. You would supervise
day surf campers (ages 7 - 17) while on the beach and near
shore, provide basic surf instruction, greet parents, maintain
base camp, and engage in beach games when campers are on
break from surfing. You need to be an experienced and skilled
surfer, and will also need to be CPR and 1st aid certified.
Camp goes from late June through Labor Day. Hours are Mon
- Fri, from 9:15am to 3:45pm.
This is ideal for someone who wants a fun, exciting and

oriented, and put the highest priority on monitoring the
safety of the surf campers.

We are looking
for energetic, detail oriented, thorough minded applicants
to handle client relations, inquiries and bookings, schedule and oversee instructors and manage administrative operations. The position is completely mobile and can be performed from anywhere. Tasks include: customer service, scheduling
lessons and surf camp, payroll, assigning instructors, answering
emails and phone inquiries, updating social media, and managing other administrative elements. You must be
an adept multi-tasker, proficient in scheduling software such as Outlook and/or
Google calendar, be very thorough and detail oriented, have management experience, an engaging
personality and be able to provide excellent customer service.
Surf experience a plus, but
not necessary.
