Our Venice Beach surf lessons
and surf camp take place near the lifeguard tower
marked "NAVY" at the boundary of Santa Monica
and Venice Beach. There is a pay parking (cost from $5 to
$15) at our location. To get there, drive
west on Rose Avenue to the parking lot at the end of the
street. Park at the far right end of the parking lot. Once
there, walk directly out onto the beach towards
the ocean. You will meet us on the beach with the equipment,
at the shore line about 30 meters to the north (to the right)
of the lifeguard tower marked "NAVY", directly
in front of the volleyball courts. During summer months,
and during surf camp, look for a white pop-up canopy with
a sign that reads LEARN TO SURF LA.
Please note: Traffic and parking during the summer can be very difficult, especially on hot weekend afternoons, so please plan accordingly and be at your lesson on time so you can get the full duration of your instruction. Late arrivals will finish at the originally scheduled end time as we have other lessons scheduled throughout the day.
THERE IS ANOTHER CAMP SET
UP BETWEEN OUR CAMP AND THE NAVY LIFEGUARD TOWER. THIS CAMP
IS NOT US. LOOK FOR THE LEARN TO SURF LA SIGN ON THE TENT
TO CONFIRM YOU ARE AT THE RIGHT LOCATION.
