Our Manhattan/Dockweiler surf
lessons take place at life guard tower 49 in Dockweiler
State Beach. The map below will give you directions to the
parking lot (cost from $5 to $7) in front of our location
(there's no shop - nothing but sand here, folks!). Once
you enter the lot, turn right and stay to the right, following
the road past the parking lot entrances on your left until
you get to the "Authorized Vehicles Only"
sign. Turn left into that lot, and park in the
left half, left of the lifeguard tower. Once parked, head
straight out onto the beach to the left of lifeguard tower
49, just south of the rock jetty. Your instructor will be
there with the equipment. Look for a pop-up canopy with
a bunch of surf equipment around it - that's us!!

All one needs to bring to surf camp
is a towel, swimsuit and sunscreen. Also, don't
forget to pack a lunch!! While we provide snacks
and water, we do not provide lunch, and there is not lunch
available nearby, so don't forget. Also, be ready for a
great time!
