Our Manhattan/Dockweiler surf
lessons take place south of the jetty at life guard
tower 49 in Dockweiler State Beach. There is pay parking
available (cost from $5 to $7) in front of our location
(there's no shop - nothing but sand here, folks!). Once
you enter the lot, turn right and stay to the right, following
the road past the parking lot entrances on your left until
you get to the "Authorized Vehicles Only"
sign. Turn left into that lot, and park in the
far left side of the parking lot, left of the lifeguard
tower. Once parked, head straight out onto the beach to
the left of lifeguard tower 49, just south of the rock jetty.
Your instructor will be there with the equipment.

All you need to bring to your lesson
is a towel, swimsuit, sunscreen and water--make sure to
be hydrated and ready for a great time!
